Taron Gevorgyan has been dismissed. It is known who will replace him
Dear colleagues, friends, and relatives, on this day last year, I announced with this photo that I was appointed as the acting head of the media department of the Yerevan City Hall. Now I inform you that after 19 years of work at the city hall, I have submitted my resignation. I am uploading the same photo because I leave with my head held high. I have tried to be as honest, diligent, and dedicated to my work as possible, and how successful I was, you will probably tell.
This was announced by Taron Gevorgyan, the acting head of the media department of the Yerevan City Hall.
“I apologize if I haven’t always been able to respond more quickly, as I have been the link between you and the city hall. In some cases, it has not been possible to respond more quickly for objective reasons,” he stated. “The purpose of this publication is mainly to inform you that we will still meet, perhaps under the same roof as some of you.”
“At this moment, there is still no specific decision regarding my future work. There are possible options, but I have not yet made a decision. I will consider possible offers to understand what is most acceptable to me. I thank everyone, especially my colleagues in the media department,” he wrote.
From the city hall’s website, we learn that Ophelia Simonyan has been appointed as the acting head of the media department.
