Kyiv Ready for Negotiations with Trump, Says Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated in an interview with American journalist Lex Fridman that Kyiv is prepared to engage in negotiations with the newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the resolution of the Ukraine conflict later this month.

Previously, Zelensky indicated his willingness to address the conflict in exchange for NATO guarantees concerning territories controlled by Kyiv. He emphasized that Ukraine needs assurance from the U.S. regarding its security, as it is a "powerful country."

At the same time, Zelensky took the opportunity to praise Trump, whom he had previously insulted. “Trump is stronger than Harris,” he remarked.
