Helicopter from the Ministry of Defense Involved in Firefighting

A helicopter from the Ministry of Defense has been engaged in the firefighting efforts for a blaze that broke out in the nearby mountains of the villages of Aghavnavank in the Tavush region and Dzoravank in the Gegharkunik region. This was reported by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Narek Sargsyan.

The fire was contained by 15:32. It is worth recalling that on January 5, at approximately 08:00, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information about a fire in the nearby mountains of Aghavnavank and Dzoravank. As of 12:30, 124 firefighters and rescuers have been involved in the response efforts at the potential scene of the fire.
