Major Fire in China: Casualties and Injuries Reported

A major fire broke out at a vegetable market in the city of Zhangjiajie, northern China. According to Gazeta.ru, the fire, which started on Saturday in the market of the Qiaoxi district, has resulted in eight fatalities and at least 15 injuries.

The incident was recorded at around 8 a.m. local time. Emergency services and firefighters promptly arrived at the scene, and the fire was extinguished in about an hour. The injured have been immediately hospitalized, and their lives are not in danger.
