Only Armenian Border Guards Maintain Control at the Specified Border, Says Pashinyan

As of today, border control at the Agarak border crossing on the Armenia-Iran state border is being conducted solely by the border guards of the Republic of Armenia. This was announced by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his Facebook page.

“Until now, since Armenia's independence, border control at the Agarak checkpoint was conducted by the border forces of the Russian Federation, and I want to thank them for their service. From today, I wish our border guards, who have taken over border control, success and good service,” he wrote.
