The Lebanese Army has transferred nearly 70 Syrian soldiers, including officers, to Damascus, who had left the country following the ousting of former President Bashar al-Assad. This was reported by Reuters, citing Lebanese intelligence sources.
The returnees were arrested immediately after crossing the border into Syria. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the detainees were transported in three buses to Syrian territory, accompanied by personnel from the Lebanese Army's intelligence and security forces.
