Car Overturned Near Hayravank Village, Injuries Reported

On December 27, at 22:04, the crisis management center of the Gegharkunik regional rescue service received a call about an accident near Hayravank village, and that there were injuries requiring the assistance of rescuers. This was reported by the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A firefighting and rescue unit from the regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was found that on the 8th km of the Gavar-Sevan highway, a Mercedes-Benz vehicle (driver: D. P., born in 1985) had veered off the roadway and overturned.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicle’s power supply, closed the valve of the gas cylinder, and assisted the driver and passenger G. D. (born in 1981) to an ambulance. Both D. P. and G. D. were hospitalized, while passenger A. Z. (born in 1998) was transported to a medical center.
