Earthquake in Lori Province
On December 29 of this year, at 01:11 local time (21:11 GMT on December 28), the seismic network of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia recorded an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.4. The geographic coordinates of the epicenter were 41.36° N latitude and 44.15° E longitude, located 6 km northwest of the city of Dmanisi, Georgia, with a depth of 10 km.
The intensity of the aftershocks in the epicentral zone was measured at 4-5 points. The earthquake was felt in the villages of Metsavan and Sarchapet in Lori Province, with an intensity of 3 points.
