Bus Overturns on Sisian Highway with 25 Passengers Onboard

On December 28, at 08:36, a call was received by the crisis management center of the Syunik regional rescue service regarding a traffic accident on the Sisian-Ltsen highway at the 13th kilometer, requesting the assistance of rescuers.

A firefighting and rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was found that a 'Scania' bus had veered off the traffic lane and overturned, but there were no reported injuries.

Preliminary information indicates that there were no casualties from the accident. Documentation is being prepared by the Syunik regional police regarding the incident, in which the driver's identity is being determined. The bus, which was returning from Iran to Armenia, had 25 passengers, mostly citizens of Armenia.
