Lukashenko Registered as a Candidate for Belarusian President

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has been registered as a candidate for the next presidential elections, which will be held on January 26, 2025.

This information was reported by RIA Novosti.

The decision was made during a meeting of the Republic's Central Election Commission (CEC). Lukashenko has been the first and only president of the Republic of Belarus, having led the country since 1994.
