I was shocked when I saw the prices of my flight tickets to the USA: Avinyan

During today’s operational meeting, Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan announced that he was astonished by the prices of plane tickets after his visit to the USA.

According to the mayor, there are issues of indifference and irresponsibility in this regard. “Tickets for November 22 were purchased on November 20; had they been bought just one day later, it is possible that we would have had to pay double the amount,” Avinyan said.

“I have decided to fully reimburse that expense,” he added, noting that it was a “New Year’s gift” for him.
