I Will Come to Armenia and Buy Three with This Money: Lapshin
A pleasant surprise awaited in a small supermarket located in a residential neighborhood of Beer Sheva, a regional city in southern Israel: Armenian juices and compotes. Blogger Alexander Lapshin shared this on his Facebook page.
“I stood for a long time in front of my favorite products, doubting whether to buy them or not. The price of the juice was not pleasant at all—one bottle cost 21.90 shekels (about $6 or 2450 AMD). Just two days ago, I bought the same juice in Yerevan for 800 AMD. I reached for the juice twice and then pulled back. I didn’t buy it; I need the money for more important things. I will come to Armenia and with this money, I will buy three juices at once.
But even in the most distant countries, the presence of Armenian products in small regional towns is a delightful fact in itself,” he wrote.
