Power Outage in Yerevan and 8 Regions for Extended Period

The Armenian Electric Networks Closed Joint-Stock Company has announced that on December 20, planned repair works will temporarily halt electricity supply in the following areas:

Yerevan:

Aragatsotn Region: 11:00-17:00: Aruch village.

Vayots Dzor Region: 10:00-13:00: Partial outage in Kechut village.

Kotayk Region: 11:00-17:00: Partial outages in Jrvazh and Zoraghbyur vacation homes, Arinj village; Abovyan city—Zonal station neighborhood, Byureghavan city and adjacent non-residential subscribers, Nurnus village, vacation homes, and adjacent non-residential subscribers.

Gegharkunik Region: 11:00-11:30: Jambarak city—Nerkin Jambarak neighborhood, school No. 4, Ts't'ujur village; 11:00-15:00: Shorja, Artanish villages, and adjacent non-residential subscribers; 12:00-14:00: Antarametj, Dzoravank, Drabak, Aigut, Kalavan, Barepat villages, Akunk village, and adjacent non-residential subscribers—EVA-Shin LLC; 15:00-15:30: Jambarak city—Chilingaryan, Mashtots, and August 23 streets.

Tavush Region: 11:00-17:00: Hovk, Gosh, Agavnavank, and Khachardzan villages.

Lori Region: 10:00-14:00: Mghart, Karmir Aghek villages.

The company also reports that reconstruction works are being carried out to ensure uninterrupted and reliable electricity supply in the Nor Yedisia, Nor Amanos, and Aragatsotn areas of Aragatsotn region, which are scheduled to be completed by December 26 this year. During the reconstruction period, temporary electricity supply interruptions may occur in the mentioned areas, and the company requests the patience of its subscribers.
