Individuals with Disabilities Can Serve in the Army, Says Pashinyan

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that under current legislation, individuals with disabilities are not allowed to serve in the Ministry of Emergency Situations or the rescue service. During his statement, Pashinyan highlighted, "There are today types of service in the army that a person in a wheelchair, an individual with mobility limitations, can effectively perform. Why not do this? This will, on one hand, allow people with disabilities to fully utilize their potential, and on the other hand, provide them the opportunity to fully integrate into public life."
