We Clearly Understand Who Our Enemy Is: Peskov

Moscow clearly understands who the enemy is and what they are capable of. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia, while commenting on the explosion that resulted in the death of Lieutenant General Igor Kirilov.

“We clearly understand who our enemy is, what they are capable of, and this once again proves the truthfulness of our actions during the special military operation,” Peskov said.

According to the Russian Investigative Committee, a bomb was detonated on the morning of December 17 on Ryazansky Avenue in Moscow, hidden in a scooter parked near the entrance of a building. Both Lieutenant General Igor Kirilov and his assistant were killed.

A criminal case is under investigation for terrorism, murder, and illegal circulation of weapons. Later, the FSB reported that a suspect, a citizen of Uzbekistan who was recruited by Ukrainian special services, has been arrested; it is said that the Ukrainian special services promised him $100,000 for the act of terrorism.
