Response Actions Will Not Be Delayed: Zakharova

The latest, 15th package of anti-Russian sanctions from the European Union is illegal in nature. Moscow will analyze these measures, and the response will not be delayed. This was announced by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

“These measures have an unlawful and illegal nature. They are directed against both Russian and foreign economic operators, as well as public figures. Brussels continues to harm our country with decisions that actually pose an additional threat to global energy security and the stability of international economic relations,” Zakharova stated during a press briefing.

She emphasized that Russia will study the 15th package of sanctions. “These measures will be analyzed in terms of their damage to our country's economic interests. And responses to the EU's illegitimate anti-Russian actions will not be delayed,” she emphasized.
