His Sense of Humor is Fine, but He is Lazy: Aghazaryan

Our team, which existed before the revolution, was quite small, sweet, and gentle. This was mentioned in an interview with NEWS.am by independent MP Hvork Aghazaryan, who had left the SSCP faction of the National Assembly, referring to the question of whether it surprised him that his team members could give him such qualifications with one directive.

“For example, just yesterday Rubinyan said, ‘We’ve expelled Aghazaryan Hvork from our team.’ I and my guys are constantly debating with Rubinyan. My people hold Rubinyan in high regard, and I also appreciate his knowledge, but he is one of the five laziest people I’ve known, so his utility as a politician is very low. I advise him to utilize his potential not by sleeping and showing up at National Assembly sessions without taking a shower, but to hold himself a bit tighter and be useful to the state,” Aghazaryan stated.

In response to the comment that Rubinyan has been appointed as a negotiator with Turkey, which is a serious role, Aghazaryan said, “They have considered his potential, his capabilities, the connections in interpersonal relationships, which I hold in very high esteem. But he and I both know what has happened. For instance, after the April events when we went to dig trenches, we didn't know where we were going, what would happen, whether there would be a fight or not; we went to the positions with automatic rifles. We were told to dig trenches, and growing up in a village, I worked better than many others. Because of Rubinyan’s extreme laziness, the Prime Minister sent him to work with me. He was being tortured, and the guys would ask, ‘How are you, Rubinyan?’ He would say, ‘I’m serving Mr. Aghazaryan.’ His sense of humor is on point, but he is lazy. Laziness is a terrible thing. It’s better for a person to be less talented but hardworking than to be talented and lazy, and he is that option.”

“Now, as heroic figures are coming forward to defame and strike Aghazaryan Hvork, in order to show that they are more Catholic than the Pope, they cannot smash Aghazaryan Hvork; that is excluded,” Aghazaryan exclaimed.
