Scandal in the Civil Contract: Who Wrote Hakob Aslanyan's Statement?
My statement regarding the suspension of my collaboration with the "Civil Contract" is based on false information. This was noted by MP Hakob Aslanyan on his Facebook page.
“Especially in this case, I consider my statement to be erroneous and emotional. I declare that I continue to remain a full member of the "Civil Contract" party and faction, and I will act in accordance with the decisions of the party's governing body and the faction. At the same time, I agree that the "Civil Contract" party should be guided by high principles of ethics,” he wrote.
However, Aslanyan also published a screenshot where he had a conversation with the Minister of High-Tech Industry, Mikayel Hayrapetyan. The screenshot reveals that the text for revoking his statement was sent to Hakob Aslanyan via SMS by Mikayel Hayrapetyan.
It should be noted that Aslanyan had previously announced that he was suspending his collaboration with the Civil Contract for one month, citing the situation surrounding Hovik Aghazaryan. Aghazaryan also left the "Civil Contract" faction and is accused of leaking confidential information.
