Gor Abrahamyan Resigns
Dear colleagues, I am ending my activities at the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia. According to my application, I have been relieved of my duties as the press secretary of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee. This was announced on the Facebook page of the spokesperson Gor Abrahamyan.
“For more than two years, I have considered it my duty to ensure effective communication of the Investigative Committee with the media and other segments of the public, following the principles of equality, partnership, and integrity, trying to become the voice of the Investigative Committee, while also being the ‘ambassador’ of the media community within the system. I am grateful to those who believed in me, in particular to the former Chairman of the Committee, Argishti Kyaramyan, who entrusted me with this responsible job, giving me the opportunity to serve my professional potential to our community. I thank the small team that provided the Committee’s public relations services, with whom we have traveled this path, who supported my initiatives and initially created a caring and warm environment.
I also express my gratitude to all my colleagues in the professional and supportive units of the Committee, through whose support we were able to ensure the highest possible operational efficiency, and whose advice helped me to further develop my sectoral knowledge and to ‘stay afloat’ especially in more complex situations. I also thank the spokespersons of partner organizations; our harmonious work and spirit of collaboration have been the guarantee of our more or less noticeable (let the public judge) results. Dear journalists, I thank you for our joint work and for this segment of life we have passed together. You have inspired me to always become more professional, more vigilant, and more communicative. I apologize if something did not go well during this time. What matters is that we will continue to look into each other's eyes clearly and honestly.
I believe that my successor’s work will be even more constructive and effective for you. I wish success to whomever that may be. I hope to still have the opportunity to make my humble contribution to the sacred work of nation-building and to serve the public and my motherland. God bless,” he wrote.
