Flight from Warsaw to Yerevan Unable to Land at Zvartnots

A LOT Polish Airlines flight from Warsaw to Yerevan circled in the Armenian airspace for about an hour before it was unable to land at Zvartnots Airport. The aircraft landed in Tbilisi instead.

Passengers are sharing photos and videos, expressing discontent after being told they could not disembark the plane even after four hours of flight and one hour of circling in the air. Airline staff indicated that they would be returning to Warsaw.

Also on board the aircraft was MP Arman Yeghoyan from the ruling Civil Contract party. In response to a post on social media, he stated, “I am also on the same plane. The issue has been resolved; anyone who wishes to disembark in Tbilisi may do so.”
