Earthquake in Armenia

An earthquake has been recorded 23 km northwest of the city of Jermuk. On December 7, at 22:41 local time, an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.4 occurred in the border zone between Armenia and Azerbaijan, at a depth of 10 km, 23 km northwest of Jermuk.

The intensity of the underground tremors in the epicentral area registered 3 on the scale. The earthquake was felt in the Vayots Dzor region, in the cities of Jermuk and Yeghegnadzor, as well as in the villages of Karaglukh, Yeghigis, and Hermon, with an intensity of 2-3.
