Blizzard, Black Ice, Fog: Road Conditions

As of December 13 at 20:00, snow is falling in the regions of Goris, Gugark, Dilijan, the steep areas of Stepanavan, and the mountain pass of Jajur.

The road from Spitak to Tsilkhar is closed for vehicles with trailers, while the opposite direction is passable. There is black ice in sections of the roads in the regions of Artik, Sisian, Kapan, and Vardenis, as well as in the Tigranashen and Stepanavan areas and the Vardenyats pass. The Vardenyats pass is only passable for vehicles with trailers with the use of chains.

There is a blizzard from the Sevan Peninsula to the beginning of the Dilijan tunnel, on the Aragats-Spitak and Aragats-Artik segments, as well as on the roads in the regions of Ashotzk and Amasia. Fog is present on the roads in the Baghramyan region, with visibility at 40-50 meters.

All interstate and national roads are open. The Road Department informs that road construction workers are carrying out clearing and sanding treatments on the roads.
