Medvedev Delivers Putin's 'Personal Message' to Xi Jinping

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, met with Chinese leader Xi Jinping in Beijing and delivered a "personal message" from President Vladimir Putin. This was reported by kommersant.ru.

The discussions took place during Medvedev's two-day working visit to China. They are expected to address the implementation of agreements reached by the leaders of the two countries.

"I am sincerely glad to see you again. Such a meeting took place two years ago, and now it is also happening in the context of cooperation between our ruling parties," Dmitry Medvedev said during the negotiations.

In addition to the personal message, he conveyed President Putin's greetings and best wishes to Xi.

Medvedev’s previous visit to China occurred in December 2022.
