The Kremlin cannot provide any details regarding the number of Russian soldiers in Syria. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia.
“Only our military can provide that information; I cannot give an exact number,” Peskov told reporters.
In response to a question about the results of Russia’s communications with the new authorities in Syria, the Kremlin representative noted that “very little time has passed.”
“Therefore, I cannot say anything in more detail, but of course, we cannot avoid communicating with those who are currently on the ground and monitoring the situation, as our facilities are there, primarily our people,” Peskov emphasized.
