Over 4,000 Syrian Soldiers Have Departed for Iraq
More than 4,000 Syrian soldiers have traveled to Iraq following the armed opposition's establishment of control over Damascus. This information was reported by the Associated Press.
“The Syrian soldiers have surrendered their weapons, ammunition, and armored vehicles,” said a representative of the Iraqi armed forces. They will be stationed in a camp, the location of which has not been disclosed.
