Over 1300 Armenian Trucks Accumulate at Upper Lars Checkpoint
Lilit A.
More than 1300 Armenian trucks are waiting to cross the Upper Lars checkpoint at the Russo-Georgian border. This information has been reported by the traffic organization center of North Ossetia.
"The road is open; however, there is black ice in some areas, which is causing significant traffic jams," the report states.
In total, around 4600 trucks from various countries are in line. It is noteworthy that the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars international highway is open to all types of vehicles in the Gudauri-Kobi section, but due to bad weather, truck congestion persists.
