18+VIDEO. New Shocking Case of Cruelty Against an Animal

A new horrifying video is circulating online as well as in various animal lover groups on Facebook. Someone is seen driving a vehicle after dogs running down the road, after which the animal is thrown under the wheels. The exact location of the incident is unclear.

Animal activists have identified both the vehicle and the driver. According to the TikTok platform, the user is named Samo Avetisyan, and the video was posted on his page. Based on information from Facebook, he is from Ararat, Armenia.

It is important to remember that cruelty towards animals is punishable under criminal law. According to Article 307, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code, cruelty towards an animal is punishable by a fine of up to twenty times the minimum wage, community service of eighty to one hundred fifty hours, short-term imprisonment for up to two months, or imprisonment for up to two years.

From January 1 to the end of November 2024, the police operational management center has received 57 reports of animal cruelty cases, compared to 46 during the same period in 2023. Despite this legislation, individuals who manifest cruelty towards animals often do not face severe punishment. Cases are either not accepted for prosecution or take years to be resolved in various courts. Fines are paid, and offenders continue to live without remorse, demonstrating once again that the cruelest animal of all is man.
