According to the president's office, "President Assad emphasized that terrorism does not understand any language, except that of strength." On November 30, the Syrian army reported that it had to regroup its forces in Aleppo to repel terrorist attacks while preserving the lives of civilians and servicemen, and is preparing for a counteroffensive.
