The special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia have completely driven the protesters out of Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi, according to a reporter from TASS at the scene.

The police have again deployed tear gas, and several individuals have been detained. The protesters did not resist law enforcement.

The standoff between demonstrators and police continued throughout the night on Rustaveli Avenue. Protesters set fire to trash cans and wooden chairs in an attempt to stay out of the law enforcement's reach. Occasional clashes erupted between them.

The police used water cannons and tear gas during the confrontations.

It is reported that during the nighttime protests in Tbilisi, 32 employees of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs were injured. According to the ministry, out of the 43 injured officers, 13 required surgical intervention, and one police officer is still hospitalized.

During the protest action, 43 individuals were detained for not complying with the police and violating administrative order.
