Dangerous Situation: It Indicates the Risk of War Escalation, Orbán Says

The deaths of American and European soldiers in Ukraine are indicative of the risks of conflict escalation and expansion. This was stated by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.

“We are in a very dangerous situation because now Americans or Western Europeans, who have military status, can be killed in Ukraine; this has already happened and clearly demonstrates the danger of war escalation and spread,” said Orbán.

Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, had stated that the West has solidified its position on the side of the Ukrainian conflict by sending mercenaries to participate in military operations. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has stated that it is possible that a number of countries are sending their regular soldiers to Ukrainian territory under the guise of mercenaries.
