Explosions Occur in Kyiv

Explosions have occurred in Kyiv against the backdrop of air alerts. Ukrainian television channels report this.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has urged citizens to take shelter. He mentioned the operation of air defense systems in the city.

This morning, explosions were reported in the Ukrainian cities of Lutsk and Rivne. According to Channel 24, power supply has been disrupted in some areas of western Ukraine following the explosions.

Media outlets have also reported explosions in Odesa and Kirovohrad. At that moment, an air alert was in effect across all of Ukraine.

It is worth recalling that Russian military forces have begun striking Ukrainian infrastructure since October 2022, right after the explosion on the Crimean Bridge. Since then, air alerts have been declared periodically in different regions of Ukraine, often across the entire country.
