Under What Circumstances German Soldiers Can Be Deployed to Ukraine

German soldiers could be deployed to Ukraine for the purpose of ensuring peace in the event of a ceasefire. This statement was made by Germany's Foreign Minister, as reported by Die Welt.

“In the event of a ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia, German soldiers could also be involved in ensuring peace,” emphasized the head of Germany's foreign affairs agency.

Prior to this, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had mentioned during a meeting with European commissioners in Kyiv that if the issue of foreign armed forces in the conflict zone is raised, the country will lose half of its allies. Meanwhile, the former head of the French military mission at the UN, General Trinckvaille, stated in an interview that Western troops could be deployed in a hypothetically frozen frontline to ensure Ukraine's security.
