All Men at Home Must Prepare, Says Ukrainian Deputy Commander

Ukrainian men currently at home need to prepare, as mobilization will not bypass them and soon everyone will be conscripted. This was stated by the deputy commander of Ukraine's Armed Forces 68th Brigade, Yavir, as reported by the publication 'Strana.'

“All men who are currently at home must prepare. It will not bypass them; soon everyone will be conscripted,” he emphasized.

The deputy brigade commander believes that the issue of personnel shortages in the army is not due to Ukrainian conscription offices, but rather the doctors who are preparing fake documents in exchange for bribes.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian leaders have admitted that the country’s residents are reluctant to join the Armed Forces, one of the reasons being the acute shortage of weaponry in the army. On November 17, a captured serviceman of the Ukrainian Armed Forces revealed that a certificate exempting from service due to disability costs at least $4,000. As an example, he cited a case where during a raid on a sports club in the Mykolaiv region, about 50 men presented such certificates, and the conscription officers did not touch any of them.
