Where Armenia Ranks Among the Safest Countries in the World

According to Numbeo's 2024 Crime and Safety Index, Armenia is ranked as the 8th safest country in the world. The index shows that the safest country is Andorra, followed by the United Arab Emirates in second place and Qatar in third.

Among its neighboring countries, Georgia is ranked 21st, Azerbaijan 33rd, Turkey 54th, and Iran 92nd. When excluding countries with populations of up to one million, Armenia ranks 5th among the safest countries.
