Road Conditions in Armenia as of 16:30

As of 16:30 on November 27, snow is falling in the regions of Aparan, Spitak, Talin, Artik, Akhuryan (Kethi and Jajur passes), Ashotsk, Sevan, Jambarak, Vayk, Jermuk, and Sisian. This information is reported by the Road Department.

In the Vardenyats Pass, on the Tatev-Ltsen route, and on the road from Aragats to Tsilkqar, there are patches of black ice. The section from Tsilkqar to Jrashen (the Spitak twists) is passable only for passenger vehicles, while heavy and trailer vehicles are prohibited from using this road.

There is a snowstorm from Aragats to Tsilkqar. “All interstate and national significance roads are open. Road construction workers are carrying out cleaning and salt-sand processing work on the roads. To avoid accidents, incidents, and traffic jams, we urge drivers to travel exclusively on winter tires,” the report states.
