We Do Not Question Armenia's Rights, Says Putin's Aide
Armenia remains a full member of the CSTO de jure, maintaining its respective rights and obligations, stated Yuri Ushakov, aide to the President of Russia.
"We do not question the right of our Armenian partners to independently determine their direction regarding future work within the organization. I would like to note that de jure, Yerevan remains a full member of the CSTO, and thus Armenia retains all corresponding rights and obligations," he said.
He added that Armenia would not participate in the CSTO summit scheduled for November 28 in Kazakhstan, but has agreed to the adoption of documents there. According to the Kremlin representative, the 'doors are open' for Armenia to all CSTO activities.
