VIDEO: Attack on Kaluga - 8 Drones Destroyed
Kyiv has announced an attack on a military factory located in Kaluga, Russia. According to Russian sources, eight unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been destroyed in the region.
Ukrainian drones targeted the "Typhoon" military-industrial plant in Kaluga. This was reported on Monday, November 25, by Andrey Kovalенко, head of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council's misinformation counteraction center. "The Typhoon plant, which is part of the Russian defense industry, was also subjected to an attack in Kaluga," Kovalenco wrote on Telegram. His post has been disseminated by several Ukrainian media outlets.
The governor of the Kaluga region, Vladislav Shapsha, wrote on Telegram on the morning of November 25 that "during the night, air defense forces destroyed 3 drones near Kaluga." A fire broke out at the site where drone debris fell within the industrial enterprise area. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties, and an operational group is working on-site. Around 4:30 AM, Shapsha reported that the fire at the industrial enterprise had been extinguished. "Overall, air defense forces destroyed a total of 8 drones overnight," the official added.
