Body of Police Officer Found; Preliminary Cause of Death Revealed

The head of the militarized unit of the New Nork Protection Division of the RA Police State Guard Service, Andrey Veranyan, has reportedly died suddenly, according to initial information. This was communicated to Sputnik Armenia by the press service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs.

His body was discovered in his office. “Preliminary data indicates sudden death,” stated sources from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Earlier, shamshyan.com reported that on November 14, in Yerevan, the body of Andrey Veranyan, head of the militarized unit of the New Nork Protection Division of the RA Police State Guard Service, was found in his office.

External examinations did not reveal any signs of violence on the body. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident.
