VIDEO: Airstrike Hits Central Beirut; Casualties Increase

The Israeli Air Force launched an airstrike this morning against a residential building located in the Basta neighborhood of central Beirut. This was reported by the Al Mayadeen television channel, citing its own correspondent.

At least 11 people have been killed, and another 33 have been injured, according to data provided by the Al Hadath channel, referencing medical sources in Beirut. An eight-story building has been completely destroyed, and five adjacent buildings have sustained damage.

Rescue teams are continuing to dismantle the rubble at the explosion site. The number of casualties could rise.

Earlier, Al Manar television reported that the Israeli combat aviation had carried out several strikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut on Saturday night, targeting the neighborhoods of Harat Hreik, Ghbeiri, and Shiyyah.
