Under What Conditions Will the War End: Medvedev
“The conflict in Ukraine can end without new losses if NATO stops fueling the war,” said Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, in an interview with Al Arabiya.
“If NATO moves to reality, if it stops kindling the fire of war in Ukraine, then this conflict can end without new losses for humanity,” he stated in response to a question about the possibility of Russia using nuclear weapons.
In this context, Medvedev also noted that Russia does not wish to use nuclear weapons, calling it an “extreme option”; however, the decision on this matter rests with the supreme commander-in-chief, namely the president of the country.
