Where is and what is Kamala Harris doing after the elections

Vice President Kamala Harris, who lost in the U.S. presidential elections, is taking a break in the Hawaiian Islands with her family, according to White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

“The Vice President has taken a leave from work to spend time with her family. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. She deserves this break as she has worked hard over the past four years,” Jean-Pierre said during a press briefing.

Somewhat irked by a question regarding why Harris took a vacation amid complaints of overtime work and unpaid wages within the Democratic campaign, Jean-Pierre concluded her remarks with the press.

It’s worth noting that Harris left for the Hawaiian Islands on Tuesday and has since received updates from her office regarding the schedule for the following day, indicating that no public events are planned.
