White House Statement on the 'Oreshnik' Test

The White House stated that 30 minutes prior to the launch of the 'Oreshnik' hypersonic ballistic missile, Russia sent an automatic notification to the United States through the Nuclear Risk Reduction Center. This was reported by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia, to TASS.

The United States has notified Ukraine and its allies in advance about Russia's upcoming launch of a medium-range missile in recent days to prepare for it. The Pentagon has also confirmed that Russia warned the U.S. about the 'Oreshnik' test.
