Hovik Aghazaryan's Phone Seized: 'Hayraparak'
Hovik Aghazaryan has been summoned by the Anti-Corruption Committee regarding an incident that occurred during parliamentary hearings on October 15. A criminal case has been initiated under Part 1 of Article 486 of the Criminal Code (two episodes): interfering with or obstructing the administration of justice or the examination of a case.
According to Arghisti Kyaramyan's statement, certain individuals contacted him twice regarding Hovik Aghazaryan's son. However, he did not disclose their identities. Aghazaryan insists that he has not contacted anyone.
Aghazaryan refuses to resign his mandate, while Nikol Pashinyan has initiated legal prosecution tools against him. According to information from 'Hayraparak', after an approximately four-hour interrogation at the Anti-Corruption Committee today, investigators seized Hovik Aghazaryan's phone, supposedly to examine the information contained within it.
It is evident that the constitutional provisions regarding the inviolability of members of parliament are being violated, especially since the Prosecutor General has not yet entered the National Assembly and has not obtained parliamentary approval to carry out such repressive actions.
