Hezbollah Announces Attack on Israeli Military Bases
This morning, the Lebanese Hezbollah movement's fighters carried out around 20 military operations against the Israeli army, with the Lebanese resistance launching missile attacks on the military bases in Ashdod and Haifa.
According to one statement, "Islamic Resistance fighters have struck Israeli military personnel groups seven times (within 24 hours) with artillery fire in the vicinity of the village of Khiyam and, for the first time, launched missiles towards the Israeli Hatzer military base located 150 km away from the border with Lebanon, east of Ashdod city."
Reports indicate that a diversionary group and several Israeli evacuation teams, along with armored vehicles, were targeted in the border area of Tel Harfa. The press service notes that the Israeli side has reported four casualties and six injured soldiers.
Additionally, several other groups of Israeli soldiers came under attack within Israeli territory near the settlement of Mitula. The military base Sharaga in the city of Acre also became a target for missile and drone strikes.
Earlier, it was reported that Israeli planes had, in turn, struck the southern suburbs of Beirut and several locations in eastern Lebanon in the Bekaa Valley four times.
