UK Strikes Russian Territory with Storm Shadow Missiles
The official spokesperson for UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has declined to comment on reports that British long-range Storm Shadow missiles have allegedly been used for the first time to strike deep within Russian territory, the Guardian reported on Wednesday.
Earlier, Bloomberg agency, citing a Western official, reported that Ukraine had used British long-range Storm Shadow missiles for the first time to target areas deep within Russia.
It was noted that Starmer's spokesperson stated that the Prime Minister's office would not comment on the reports or operational matters. However, the Guardian confirmed that British missiles have indeed been used.
On Wednesday, the Times newspaper, referencing sources within the British government, reported that the US is expected to allow Ukraine to use British long-range Storm Shadow missiles to strike deep into Russian territory, as Washington no longer has any objections to this matter.
