It Is An Exclusive Manifestation of Irresponsibility: Pashinyan

During an interview on Public TV, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed the political situation in Gyumri. Referring to the resignation of mandates by the Balasanyan bloc, Pashinyan stated that the central government has already provided solutions to certain issues.

However, overall, according to Pashinyan, the way to resolve the situation in Gyumri is through elections. "There are legal issues here. Legislative changes need to occur. Essentially, our problem is as follows: We must give the people of Gyumri the opportunity to elect their own mayor. On the other hand, I cannot comment on what happened in any way other than as an exclusive manifestation of irresponsibility," he said.

"All the speculations that the government has pressured anyone in any way to do or not do something are absurd. Regarding criminal cases, the government has nothing to do with criminal cases. If there is evidence, there is a criminal case; if there is no evidence, there is no criminal case," he said.
