Pashinyan Talks About Controversial Dismissals

There are certain issues that have been raised since 2018 and still require more effective addressing. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during an interview on Public TV, referring to the recent controversial dismissals.

"The dismissals are not personalized but are more related to the systems. They are not conflictual by nature, but rather work-related," he said.

At the same time, Pashinyan mentioned that all the officials who were dismissed had made "very serious systemic changes" in their positions. According to him, in that regard, they have "worked well." "The leader, on one hand, must guide and thus be part of the system, but on the other hand, must be separated from the system to see the system from the outside," he emphasized.
