Ukrainian Armed Forces Use ATACMS Missiles for the First Time, Reports Media
On the night of November 19, the Ukrainian Armed Forces may have executed their first missile strike against a military facility located in the territory of the Russian Federation. The target is said to be an arms depot in the Bryansk region.
This information comes from military journalist Yuri Butusov, citing his own sources. According to him, American-made ATACMS ballistic missiles could have been used for the attack. However, there has yet to be an official confirmation of this information.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian soldiers, in cooperation with other units of the Defense Forces, carried out an attack on an arms depot and material support center located near the town of Karachev in the Bryansk region.
It is important to note that, according to agreements with the United States, the use of ATACMS is only permitted in the Kursk region, where North Korean troops are stationed.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin threatened to strike NATO forces if Ukraine uses long-range weapons on Russian territory. He has now also threatened to deliver a nuclear strike if Western missiles are used, abruptly changing the nuclear doctrine.
