Narek Zeynalyan Resigns from Parliamentary Mandate
Member of the ruling Civil Contract faction, Narek Zeynalyan, has resigned from his parliamentary mandate. He issued a statement where he stated:
“Dear compatriots, I am voluntarily terminating my parliamentary powers. As I have done until today, I will continue to serve the Republic of Armenia with my knowledge and experience.”
He briefly presented the work he has done over the years: “Since 2019, as the chairman of the permanent committee of the National Assembly, I have developed and fully adopted a total of 49 legislative initiatives, delivered more than 50 speeches, organized numerous discussions on various topics, and have been elected co-chair of the Global TB Caucus for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, leading the Armenian delegation at the European Parliamentary Forum on recovery rights, and serving as vice-chair of the permanent committee on social policy and human rights of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States.”
“I have participated in many discussions related to the healthcare system on various international platforms. Together with my political team, we have overcome quite serious trials, and I am confident that my colleagues will continue to uphold our declared values and honorably overcome all the challenges facing the Republic of Armenia, turning our dreams into reality.”
Narek Zeynalyan is the chairman of the Health Committee of the National Assembly and a member of the Civil Contract faction.
