Trump Plans to Dissolve FBI, Says Ramaswamy
The newly created Department of Efficient Governance (DODGE) by the upcoming U.S. President Donald Trump will dissolve a portion of federal agencies, announced businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, who has been appointed to lead the department alongside Elon Musk.
Ramaswamy, who will co-head the Department of Efficient Governance with Musk, promised to cut back on "inflated" areas and eliminate certain agencies. Earlier, he suggested the abolishment of the FBI, the IRS, and the Department of Education.
"We expect some agencies to be completely abolished," Ramaswamy stated during an appearance on Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures program. He noted that there are currently "massive waste, fraud, and abuse" taking place, where contractors, according to Ramaswamy, are "exploiting the federal government."
He added that he anticipates significant cuts in the "inflated" sectors of federal operations, among federal contractors, and anyone who submits inflated invoices to the American administration for services. Specific contractors suggested for elimination were not mentioned by the department co-leader.
